As someone who needs little in the way of introduction, Bill Bachman has been at the pinnacle of tenor drumming for some time now. Ubiquitous Illin-ness was constructed specifically for the tenor solo compilation book, Violent Tenor Cream. In the program notes, Bill indicates the first title he had in mind for the piece was "Frenzied Fury of Greased Lightning." That's for sure. In true Bachman fashion, these are some reefed beats…so hold onto your hats and glasses!
