Description

Scott Joplin’s Maple Leaf Rag, composed in 1899, is one of the most iconic ragtime pieces in the genre’s history. Selling 75,000 copies in its first six months of publication, it is just as popular today as it was when it was first released. Now, this inimitable work is available for xylophone soloist and marimba quartet thanks to Eric Rath’s wonderful arrangement. In addition to the marimba quartet, a piano accompaniment is provided so that the soloist can perform in a more intimate setting. Maple Leaf Rag can also be found in The Golden Age of Ragtime, a compilation of five classic ragtime pieces arranged by Ralph Hicks and Eric Rath!

This piece comes as a professionally printed and bound score and includes individual parts in PDF format for printing or for tablet viewing.
