Announcing the Tap-Off practice pad
Saturday, November 27th, 2010Through a joint effort between Tapspace and OffWorld Percussion, a new dual-surface practice pad hits the market today. The Tap-Off is the result of over a year of development and features an orange gum rubber playing surface with a special oval of OffWorld’s own signature Darkmatter. The two distinctly different surfaces make it a great practicing tool for both drumset players and rudimental drummers. The pad also features an impact-resistant rim and a soft foam base that can also be played on.

New Murray Gusseck Video Kickstarts!
Monday, April 12th, 2010Now you can hear it straight from the horse’s mouth! Veteran marching percussion instructor and composer Murray Gusseck is the focus of a new type of lesson series geared around existing Tapspace pieces. We start with two parking lot style jams by Gusseck, Flash Gordon Henderson, and Doublebeat 9000, both of which enjoyed popularity during the summer of the 2009 drum corps season. Both pieces now have an optional new Video KickStart feature available in which Murray explains key concepts and demonstrates core exercises designed to help drummers find their groove with the parts.
Don’t just get the music—get inside the music with the composer!
