We’re excited to present a fresh new batch of awesome concert music for 2013! New percussion ensembles, duets, and solos are now available to spice up your concert season.

In addition to new releases from veteran Tapspace artists Brian Blume, Jamieson Carr, Jim Casella, Ralph Hicks, Jesse Monkman, Jeff Queen, Brian Slawson, Christopher D. 2013 Cavaliers Audition Packets available

The Cavaliers percussion section will soon be holding auditions for 2013. Under the leadership of composer/arranger Michael McIntosh, and percussion caption head Brian Tinkel, the official audition packets are now available to anyone vying for a spot in this prestigious ensemble.

Many months under construction have finally paid off as our site now has a new look and feel throughout with many helpful new features to help you browse. Now you can more quickly locate the products you’re looking for with our “narrow results” functionality. Also, viewing products will give you a closer look and listen with full sample score previews, full audio demos, and in many cases, full video performances of our music. We hope it makes your visit easier and more enjoyable.

This year we’re serving up some drumline jams that are sure to challenge your hands (and your brains) and get the crowds on their feet. We’ve added a fresh coat of paint to some of Murray Gusseck‘s classic hits from Parking Lot Etudes, as well as adding two new lot jams from the legendary Jeff Queen. This 363-page book + DVD is a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge about four styles of West African dance and drumming–Akpese, Gadzo, Kinka, and Adzohu.
