Just in time for the wrap-up of the 2014 DCI season, we’re very proud to welcome Roger Carter to our family of artists with his intricate battery piece Vortex, as heard performed by the 2014 Bluecoats drumline. Vortex is an aggressive marching percussion piece rife with challenging polyrhythmic ideas through a constant 12/8 meter. Extended grooves, sectional breakdowns, and dense, rudimental rhythms that laugh in the face of silly barlines, there’s no escaping this Vortex.

2 New Marimba Solos Now Available!

We’re excited to kick off the summer segment of our new release calendar with two timeless classics, both of which are available today! We’ve been hard at work licensing these two new solos, which are the first of several that will be released in the coming months, and ensuring that the engraving and layout are painstakingly detailed.
