For three players, Top Tank is a rhythmic little piece in three sections written by Brian Slawson. All three players have parts requiring them to keep time well and weave their sounds in amongst those of the other two players with constant dialog. A more sparse groove in the beginning transitions to a very active and groove-based section later on which then crescendos to a dramatic climax. This is a great choice for small groups and a good way to fill space in a concert program with minimal equipment and setup.
